Dear sweet Martha, I am heartbroken over the loss of Dickie; I loved him so. I am thinking of you, Martha Lee, Eddie, and all of you as you mourn that wonderful man. I have such fond memories of him from when I was a little girl and he would come to Waycross, to the days on the dock with Daddy fishing and laughing. I treasure the visit I had with you both in Montezuma. I'll bet there was one heck of a reunion in heaven when Winkie opened the gates for that sweet Dickie. I love you all so very much. Buffi ps I will try to call you tomorrow. I understand if you are too overwhelmed to talk, but I'd love to hear your voice.
